When I looked up the word Prorated, I was bombarded with insurance, real estate, and financial terms. To me, the term prorated is conflated. It is composed of a combination of different elements. ‘Cause really isn’t relaxing a day longer than 1 hour? A day is 24 hours. If I only get 1 hour of relaxation in a 24-hour day, then isn’t my time prorated? This is the only thing that makes sense to me.

I was writing on my blog today. I noticed that Monti and Smokey were playing UNO through the storm door. Meaning that one cat was telling the other, to draw four! Their conversation went like this,
“Stop!
Inside this house, I rule.
Before you come in.
I have a deal, Monti says,
Leave me alone until I say so
And then we still will
Never to be
Together as inside brothers.”

P.S.S. I went over the word count for the prompt, but I have the word “sibilant” in my poem. So there’s that to consider, right?

“Dive right in,” said the waitress. My plate at the local Mel’s diner was full of homemade macaroni and cheese. I had a large glass of cold milk. A good book lay on the table beside me. It was the latest mystery novel from one of my favorite authors, Tonya Kappes. Tonight is a good night.

I am not a professional photographer. However, taking these photos encouraged me to walk outside. I enjoyed the beautiful weather today while experimenting with what I thought were shadows and back lighting. I used my Galaxy A54 5G; phone camera.
