Tonya Kappes conveyed the idea effectively in one of her books. She said, “Gossip is a prayer chain in a Southern church woman.” I’m not quite sure how she worded it, but the point is clear. Our phones have always been the problem, not just today; people are always on their phones.
Actions speak louder than words. Everyone is at fault. None of us is Jesus, who never sinned. So, think about it: how many Southern women’s prayer chains have you started this week? We don’t always have to talk about it with everybody. That’s fake concern. Think about it: Meditate and Pray.
Todays word-FOUNDATIONAs a former Vacation Bible School goer. One would remember the tune, 🎶The Wise Man Built his House upon the Rock🎶meaning Jesus. He would be the rock on which we stand. He is our firm foundation.
Another example would be a physical therapist telling a traumatic brain injury survivor to establish a foundation before they make any movement. This prevents losing their balance. Foundations keep one from slipping.
During a hurricane, beach houses are observed being destroyed. They are taken away in the ocean from a strom that is too strong to withstand its power.
Another example is relationships that are broken because they are not built on trust and loyalty. These are two necessary traits to have in a healthy relationship.
All in all, having a foundation means support. It can also mean establishment. Foundation is a necessary part of life to maintain what it is that you are trying to obtain.
When I looked up the word Prorated, I was bombarded with insurance, real estate, and financial terms. To me, the term prorated is conflated. It is composed of a combination of different elements. ‘Cause really isn’t relaxing a day longer than 1 hour? A day is 24 hours. If I only get 1 hour of relaxation in a 24-hour day, then isn’t my time prorated? This is the only thing that makes sense to me.
I was writing on my blog today. I noticed that Monti and Smokey were playing UNO through the storm door. Meaning that one cat was telling the other, to draw four! Their conversation went like this,
P.S.S. I went over the word count for the prompt, but I have the word “sibilant” in my poem. So there’s that to consider, right?
What was I saying? Oh yes, I am telling you about the conversation between the two cats. Monti and Smokey are hilarious . Tux was looking at them both with disbelief…
