He’s half a man, not whole
does not give in, give up, or fold
When he’s alone, he’s strong, he’s bold
There’s no struggle, no story, no soul
Just eyes so black, they are dark like coal
No feelings, no worry, just cold
the scars are a story they told
Maybe he is hurt, or it’s grieving his toll
or does he mind if I should glance, just a look
or maybe ignore and not chance
I will read, with upward stares from my book
That will work for a while; it will be my stance
My words, my story, my hidden nook
No worries, just concerned it’s my trance
