Sunday Poser #232- Traveling?

We used to travel once a month. My husband worked for a chemical company where he had to do 12 shift work daily (switching days and nights). Once a month, he had off a whole week. He wanted us to go somewhere at least one night. Like an amusement park, Jamestown,  Williamsburg Virginia. He also wanted to eat at restaurants he heard about on the radio. We would also stay home to do yard work, repairs, housework, or just relax.

We haven’t traveled to those kinds of places since 2022 when he had his stroke. This is okay. I am a homebody anyway. Plus, my health issues and now his health issues make it hard to travel. No worries. Like I said, I am a homebody anyway.

If I had the choice, I would love to travel to the other side of the world. Maybe England, Scotland, Switzerland.  I have online friends in the Middle East or surrounding areas that I would also love to visit.

My dream vacation would be to a Scottish castle. I would love to stay there for a while. I mean, to live there. Maybe a cottage in Switzerland. If I were to stay in the U.S., I would love to visit Maine, Oregon, or Washington State. That way, I could see the western part of the U.S . On my side of the U.S., we do have the Atlantic Ocean around 2 hours away from us. If I traveled to California(the western part), I could visit the Pacific Ocean.

Or I can stay home, blog, read, or listen to music. That’s cool, too.
