I was probably three when I started playing with Barbies. They were my stress reliever. Putting me on the floor with a bundle of Barbies would ease whatever tantrum I was having at the moment.
I remember using my mom’s old room at my grandmother’s as my Barbie room. I had a McDonald’s, a mall, a car, a bus, a salon, clothes, and shoes. You name it. My fondest memory is during family reunions. My great-grandfather would sit in his rocking chair while I opened my Barbie suitcase. He would be so enthused by my dolls. That is a memory I will keep as long as I live. On a side note, I want to remember that others appreciate it when I take an interest in their achievements. They also enjoy it when I notice their likes, hard work, and hobbies.
Until Next Time,
Heidi💜
