Serena was waiting for the next note that was an octave higher each week. She practiced diligently this week. Once she settled down at home, this effort would determine her achievement of goals. Her music instructor was impressed by her dedication. She was being trained for her first music tour. Her trainer, Stefen, was someone who would be easy to fall in love with. However, she didn’t want to distract herself right now. Her tour was more important. Her music tour was her goal. Her only goal. Stefen ended their practice with encouragement. He told her to practice at home but to not overdo it. He wanted her ready, not with a strained voice. With that encouragement, he waved her off for home. They parted their separate ways as his home was East and her home was West. When Serena arrived home from her 40-minute bus ride, her sister greeted her with a bowl full of fresh olives. They went over their plans for next month as they ate.
