In the mornings, before Helen started her workday, she would always seem to be searching for her tube of lipstick. I mean, it’s not like she had several of the same color just lying around for her to lose one. No, the store had discontinued her color of choice. The last time she shopped the department store, she bought all the lipsticks they had in her color. She hoped they would last a while. At least until she decided on a new favorite color. It seemed like she didn’t have time to sit down and choose a lipstick color these days. She was handling so many responsibilities. Things had to lighten up. Even still, Helen faced her day like a deer in the face of car lights, maybe.
