I live by this quote. I love it. Life can be a series of things you look forward to instead of chores you need to accomplish. The joy is in the journey, right?

I will combine 1 blog post prompt into several today. You know, like homemade soup. Just throw it all in. I want to see how that works…

To start off, here are 13 things,

1. I am struggling today. Just can’t get motivated. Taking the first step is the hardest
2. I find it easy to isolate when I am struggling. So I talked to my friend. I do have a better mindset
3. Small chores seem big at first. What are the good things that have happened today? I got started. I started somewhere.
4. It’s hard to keep the house clean. I’m sure feeling like that won’t last forever. Still, the house needs a good straightening. I am thankful my son can help. My husband used to cook because he loved to. Since his stroke, he has been unable to. I am learning new cooking skills now
5. I want to play the blame  game. Also,I feel sorry for myself game. Which isn’t healthy. Instead, I will take responsibility for myself. Face it until I make it.
6. It is day three of weight loss P.S. I WANT MORE FOOD
7. My cats are loving to me. They make me feel special
8. My son went to get groceries. He loves to do stuff. He has his license now, so he probably enjoys the freedom.
9. My orange cat seems smaller in the summer, less fur, I guess. I got to hold him and cuddle him. My tuxedo cat loves a lot more attention these days.
10. My blog is my place to unwind. I can distract myself from my worries
11. I met a new online friend. Plus, I added a new prompt. Do you guys know how I love prompts?
12. I paid bills. My electric bill is around $300.00 cheaper due to an energy upgrade. That right there is enough to make me estatic.
13. Bedtime is my favorite time. I take a bath first, then relax by reading. I feel so refreshed when I take a bath first.

Which reminds me of the show Emergency.  I have a love/hate relationship with medical shows.  I mean, I do love them. However, at times, they give so much info. I get anxious. I would rather not know. So I back off for a while.
