This Week’s Writer’s Workshop Prompts – April 10, 2025

1.Write a post based on the word dreams.

My dreams can sometimes seem a little scary.

Of this, I am always a little wary.

So when I dream of pink and blue cotton candy,

It’s then that my life may seem like it’s dandy.

However, I ask the Lord before rest,

To grant me sweet dreams at His very best.

2.Write a post in exactly 14 sentences (lines).

I love cheese.

I love cheese and crackers.

I love cheese, crackers and sour cream.

I love cheese. crackers, sour cream and a splash of hot sauce.

I love cheese, crackers, sour cream, and a splash of hot sauce when all four ingredients are melted a little.

I love cheese, crackers, sour cream, and a splash of hot sauce with all four ingredients melted together and milk.

All the above, the cheese, crackers, and sour cream,with a splash of hot sauce (melted) and milk, is my late night snack. If I can’t sleep.

When I can’t sleep, I fix a snack for me.

When I fix a snack for me, it’s usually junk food.

When I eat junk food, I feel guilty for not eating healthy.

When I eat healthy, I’m usually still hungry ( I crave) for junk food.

When I crave I think about cheese.

When I think about cheese, I also think about crackers, sour cream, and a splash of hot sauce…with all four ingredients melted a little…and milk.

When I reach this point in my story, I fall down a rabbit hole just like Alice in Wonderland.

3.Tell us about your secret hiding place as a child.

my mom’s childhood room in what I called my Barbie room when I was little.

5.Would you prefer to be too hot or too cold?

well, too cold because I could warm up in a blanket. I hate to be hot. I’m perimentapausal hot

6.What things that you have now could you get rid of and not affect your life? Explain

My husband would say me. Nah, I would say my husband. Nah, we both would miss each other. Nah, I’m just kidding. I am saying that because living with anyone is about giving each other mutual respect.
