Three Things Challenge #MM24

You can imagine the SHOCK my mother in law had when she opened the top drawer of my dresser. There, she would see all articles of clothing and junk. It’s what my husband’s SOCK drawer would be. I had cramped it with little trinkets, batteries, etc. All of this was in an attempt to make our bedroom seem organized. You know the saying, out of sight, out of mind.” WELL, THAT MAY WORK FOR VISITORS WHO DONT STAY LONG BUT NOT FOR MOTHERS, WHEN THEIR BABY BOY IS HOME FROM WORK, WITH A COLD.

Can you imagine the SMOCK I heard from her voice that day? I guess she made her point. Her grimace on her face said it all.

That, I’m lazy and unorganized. What she doesn’t know is what it is like to be the wife of her son instead of his mother.

All this to say, expect nothing but the unexpected.
