A great idea will pop into my head at the most awkward times so it’s hard for me to explain to my family or friends how I need to jot a word down right then. I may be in the middle of looking at a menu trying to be prepared to give my order to the waitress. I could be home tuning to a movie I want to see. The ultimate is when someone is talking to me and I get a bright idea. I whip out my phone or tablet before the idea fades from my memory. My fellow writer friends understand this predicament all too well. It’s frustrating for a writer. I reckon we could keep in mind that a new idea will form a new point that will be built on the one we had before, at least we hope so, right?
