I didn’t know that you would go you first. That’s what I said when I was spending hours on the phone with you. I didn’t realize it then. After our back and forth, when I said, “you first” after your “you first,” our conversation ended. How was I to know that would be the last time I would hear your voice? Without your presence, my life would be incomplete. Death is so final. How can anyone wrap their head around the concept? We as humans have different religious beliefs. So, do you believe in Jesus? Do you think there is a higher power? I want to believe that Jesus is real. If Jesus came back today, I would ask him if I could go see you. Would he take us all to Heaven?
