I started this post last night and had to get up from bed to adjust my heat. I usually keep it around 65 degrees. So when I left my phone behind in my room on my nightstand, somehow, my post was deleted. Deleted the whole thing. At the time, I had no desire to start over with that post. What I was trying to write to yall was that my favorite animals are cats. I love to watch their silliness. I find it ironic that our prompt yesterday was about our favorite animals. It happened when my two male cats were being so silly. I was about to crawl into bed when I noticed Tux’s hind parts sticking out from under the bed. He was diligently looking for something. I also noticed my other male cat, Monti, coming up behind Tux to see what all the fuss was about. I didn’t see what he was after. However, I knew that whatever was under my bed had my cat’s full attention. I mentioned the situation to my husband, who was already snug in our warm, fluffy bed. I was guessing the object of my feline curiosity was most likely a mouse. I just had a feeling it was. So I was cautious when I was walking from the foot of the bed. In the case that I would have a mouse run across my feet. EEKK!!🐀 I made it to bed without any shocks. I didn’t experience the pitter patters of little gray mice feet across my toes. I did hear the growl of my cat, which is usually what he does when he captures a little mouse. I never saw the evidence of a mouse booger. Its counterparts were not displayed on my bedroom floor as a cat’s present to its owner. Yet, I am curious to know what evidence I will see under my bed if I look. Although, I am questioning if I will even look. Either way, I will “smell” my questions in a few days. Oh dear! I don’t want to look or smell any evidence of a mouse. I just hope the mouse wasn’t sick. Otherwise, it could make my cats sick if they ate the poor thing, HA!
