so the first thing I see is that there is water mighty close to those houses. Also close to those cars. I am curious about where this picture would be. This must be a bay area. Or, a fishing town, maybe. This scene reminds me of the short story I wrote about the girl who recently became an author. Her brother and mom were preparing along with her for a celebratory party at the bookstore they owned. I picture her living in a fishing town. Maybe on an island that can only be reached by the ferry. Since she is able to look out her window to see her mom open the store, maybe the house and the store would be on opposite sides of the canal. To be fair, I hope there is a safety railing to keep people from the water. This is a nice area. This is what I see…
